Privacy notice

This notice explains how Match-Maker Ventures handles personal data in MMV Grow, the portal at grow.match-maker.ventures where invited technology companies see MMV's operator access and plan a collaboration with us. It covers Grow only. Our website has its own policy.

Who is responsible

What we store

• Your sign-in with Google: your name, email address and profile picture, as Google shares them with us when you sign in. We never see your Google password.
• The company your access belongs to, and who at MMV invited you and when.
• The operator accounts you mark as Interested or Top priority, the reasons you give, who marked them and when.
• Technical logs of your use: sign-ins and sessions (including IP address and browser), page visits and errors, which keep the portal secure and working.

Why

To give invited technology companies access to MMV's portal, and to prepare and run a collaboration with your company: which operators to approach together, your proposal and first operator meetings. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in that business relationship and, once there is one, the contract with your company.

Who sees it

The accounts you mark, and your reasons, are shared with MMV's team and stored in MMV's customer relationship management system (CRM), so the people working with your company can act on them. Other companies using Grow never see your data or your marks. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Where

Grow runs in the European Union: the application on Vercel and its database on Neon, both in Frankfurt, Germany. Sign-in goes through Google. Our CRM, Attio, holds what is shared with MMV's team. These providers process data for us under data processing agreements; where a provider may access data from outside the EU, that is covered by the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU's standard contractual clauses.

How long

We keep your account and marks while your access to Grow is active, and for [RETENTION PERIOD, TO BE CONFIRMED] after it ends. Technical logs are deleted after [LOG RETENTION PERIOD, TO BE CONFIRMED]. What you marked may stay in our CRM as part of the record of our collaboration with your company.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict its use, to receive it in a portable format, and you can object to how we use it. Write to office@match-maker.ventures. You can also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, dsb.gv.at) or the authority where you live or work.

Changes

When this notice changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
